Prevention of Child Domestic Workers exploitation and abuse
We are currently implementing a project supported by Freedom Fund on prevention of Child Domestic workers’ exploitation and abuse. We are also sensitizing the community about the project through football.
General Crime and violent extremism prevention through sports
Busia Beyond Crime Organization has launched a youth football team that comprises of boys and girls from humble back ground to harness the sports potential in the youth and as a crime prevention initiative to build on the power of sports as a tool for peace. This initiative aims to promote sports and related activities to prevent crime, terrorism and other forms of violence and to effectively build resilience of at-risk youth. Through Community Policing concept the organization trains the community to enhance in the youth knowledge of the consequences of crime and substance abuse and seeks to positively influence behavior and attitudes of at-risk youth and prevent anti-social and risky behavior. As an organization we place the youth at the apex of community outreach activities as ambassadors of change.
Developing football talent in the youth in Busia County
